bAcK tRaCk...

Sorry, been pre-occupied with a lot of things lately that's why I have neglected my blog for quite sometime and also after 2 years i have decided to have my braces back and that makes me quirky… Before the month ends let me gather my cluttered thoughts to give you a precise back track, so where should I start…
::
1st March is hubby’s Natal Day… Since his b-day falls on a Saturday and it’s a working day for him, we decided to celebrate it a day before… We got up early in the morning and hit the road going to Sheikh Zayed Road to have our breakfast at Coco’s Bar & Restaurant… It was indeed a sumptuous meal… Then we headed home because hubby has a short staff training to conduct in their office which later on turned out to be cancelled… Since we’re home we decided to take a nap before pushing our butts off to Dubai Outlet Mall… My gift?!? I bought these 2 Esprit Jeans and 1 Reebok Rubber shoes for him… I’m glad that he liked it… Exactly on his b-day, I cooked Carbonara while sissy's fiance ordered some pizza and my bro got him some ice cream...
::
::
A sweet goodbye to our Mitz, thank you for keeping us safe from all the road trips, we’ll miss yah but I am sure that sissy will take good care of you… Mitz is about to turn 1 this coming 7th April...
::
::
Hubby really wanted to have a 4 wheel drive, even if he’s not telling me or pushing me to allow him to have one, I can feel his urge of getting one… He keeps on surfing the net for 4 wheel cars, 1 evening I told him to check what he wants and then we’ll decide if we can afford to buy without getting any loan from the bank… At first he was hesitant for he thinks that I am not serious or simply fooling him around… To make him feel that I am indeed serious, I tag along with him in hopping to different showrooms… The most affordable 4 wheeler and offers a good deal is KIA…. On 25th March we end up taking home this Black KIA Sportage… We had it blessed at St. Michael’s Church last 27th March… Though the moolah that we are saving for our vacation and other trips had been swept away, it doesn’t matter… That moolah can’t replace our happiness and I am sure I made hubby tremendously happy even if it's not one of those lavish 4 wheels… Vacation plans and other trips are left hanging, at least for the meantime…
::

::
New weekend routine… It started out this month and I’m very happy to oblige myself to wake up early in the morning… Every Friday we jog along the beach and after jogging if it’s not windy we play badminton… Hmmm, we’re starting to embrace a healthy life… After the much anticipated tiresome morning excise, we should have a good meal that will kick out our hunger… At IKEA they serve breakfast as early as 9:30ish ayem, after breakfast we head off to our weekly grocery thingy… Home by 12noon, we still have ample time to have our afternoon siesta before attending the Friday mass…

I fEeL sO bLeSsEd...

Yesterday we attended the Easter Sunday Mass at St. Michael’s Church… A huge crowd composed of mostly Filipinos and Indians are gathered to celebrate the feast… The priest’s sermon made me realize that we’re so blessed and there are lots of things to be thankful of… Things that sometimes we forgot to acknowledge or give credit… There was a time that in some ways I questioned God in which I fully regret and I have already asked his forgiveness… I promised not to dwell with the same issue again for I believe it will come in his time… We’re thankful for the continuous blessings pouring each and everyday…

God’s gift of good health, we’re more than grateful because hubby and I together with our families are healthy and never been ill… I can not afford to see any member of our families suffering from any illness it will totally break my heart…

God provides and much to our surprise we can now declare that we’re on the road of financial stability… Material things that we can only have by the pleasure of staring or holding at it but can’t really afford to have and that we have surpassed, now we have the satisfaction to grab the things we wanted…

God saves, I was supposed to visit my OB this month but rather decided to have an indefinite leave from OB visits. God did stop me from going, why? An unexplained accident happened inside the Medical Center, a cab lost his wheel control and hit the Medical Center’s ground floor, almost 1/2 of cab went inside, hitting the patients waiting area, if I was there I would have been in big trouble but God did save me from that accident… Now instead of giving myself a chance to dwell on things which makes me crazy I’d rather count the blessings that comes our way and be thankful...
(The Prime Medical Center is only 2 buildings away from our office)

God gives, he gave me the best partner that I could ever have… A partner whom I can laugh and cry with… Who gives me courage and strength at any given time… Who unconditionally loves me and is willing to stand by my side rain or shine… Who pampers me and understands my unusual tantrums…

God comes in different ways, everyday he never forgets to touch our lives…
Thank God for the gift of Life…

LeNtEn SeAsOn...

Christians observe Lenten Season for 40 days, it starts on Ash Wednesday and end on the day before Easter Sunday. Passion Sunday is the first Sunday of Lent and the Last Sunday is Palm Sunday. The week before Easter is called Holy Week.

Lent is a time of spiritual preparation. A time to prepare ourselves for Easter by asking God for forgiveness by repenting our sins. This is the time of year that all christians profess their faith. It is also the time of learning more on Christian faith as well as a time of self-examination and soul-searching that included repentance, self-denial, prayer, and fasting.

Lenten is the season for new beginnings and a time of spiritual renewal. Forsake all evil in our lives and surrender yourself to God. This is the perfect moment to reflect on Christ’s journey to the cross ending at the Resurrection.

Lent is a reaffirmation of our faith in God.

Abu Dhabi: At least three people were killed and nearly 350 injured in a horrific 60 vehicle pile-up on the Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway near Ghantoot on Tuesday.

However, Gulf News has learnt that the death toll could be five. The 25km stretch of the UAE's busiest highway from Abu Dhabi to Dubai was closed for more than five hours, resulting in huge tailbacks during rush hours.

Police said among the 347 injured, six people were critical, while 39 suffered medium injuries. The remaining suffered minor injuries. Police said 25 vehicles caught fire following the accidents caused by poor visibility due to the thick fog and lack of attention by motorists.

Lieutenant General Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Interior, said coordination by officials contributed to limiting the fatalities. Quick response by the rescue and ambulance department officials helped save lives and in reopening the road to traffic at the earliest. He called on all road users to exercise caution, especially during early morning when visibility is low.

Colonel Osman Al Tamimi, Director of the Emergency and Safety Management section of Abu Dhabi Police said the central operations room received a call at 6.39am informing about a series of pile ups between Bahia bridge and Ghantoot bridge in the direction towards Dubai.
Ambulances, fire engines and helicopters of the Air Wing were despatched immediately. Dubai police and support teams from Armed Forces as well as a number of traffic patrols joined the rescue operations.

"The officials worked towards moving the injured to the nearest hospitals and extinguishing the fire," he said, adding that the roads were reopened for traffic in record time. An Abu Dhabi traffic police officer at the crash site said: "The crash happened because everyone was speeding despite the severe weather conditions. Drivers weren't leaving a safe distance between cars and this resulted in everyone hitting each other after the first crash."

HeLp Me GeT oVeR tHiS...

This week gave me so much pressure and all I want is to get out of this hell

What’s eating my head?

1. I am supposed to blog about hubby’s birthday celebration, but I am not in the mood to do so (blame it to my unpredictable hormones). Will definitely post it as soon as my mojo comes back.
2. Mood swings, I had a petty fight with hubby (matter resolved).
3. AF arrived, another failed Cycle. Much to my dismay we decided to have a short break from OB visits.
4. So upset upon seeing the Red flag. Next visit (no plans yet) I should be more prepared emotionally, mentally and physically to ensure that negative result will not leave me cranky and a sobbing baby.
5. Colleagues have noticed that I look so low and seem cluttered these past few days, if only I have the guts to tell them to blame it on the flaring hormones.
6. Getting a cab in the morning seems to be a nightmare and the result, I’ve been late for the whole straight week. I left the house earlier from the usual, but still chances are so low. Luck is playing its role on me because the bosses didn’t notice that I’ve been late for the whole week. Thank goodness…
7. Been arguing and throwing emails to colleagues in our head office, seems neither parties don’t want to accept their mistakes. They keep on insisting on what they want and not what will benefit the rest… I hate explaining over and over again to someone who doesn’t want to comprehend.
8. The sister keeps on calling and pushing me on something which I believe is not that important. She’ll be going home for a month vacation and all her stupid stuffs for her Balik Bayan box is eating up space in our small flat. While on the other hand she keeps on bragging me to buy a Flat TV and include it in her cargo in which we have to divide and share the cost.
9. Mom keeps on asking hubby and me about our vacation plans. I keep on telling her that we’re not yet sure and it depends on our other plans if it will push through. Hubby is also eager to plan our vacation but I insist that we have to focus first on our baby project before pushing to our vacation project. We still have to compromise, NO baby = NO vacation (joke-joke-joke).
10. I hate hubby whenever he’s on the phone. Every discussion we had, we got interrupted because of his work related calls. Mind you, he’s having a total of more than a hundred calls a day (both outgoing and incoming) even after office hours, or should I say he receives call/s even after 8pm. He’s not a call center agent but his work is more on a 24/7 operations. On the other way around I pity him because he’s always swamped with load of works which leads to less time discussing things and I don’t want to give him added headaches…

Teehee, my head is full of junk and I badly need a break…
Sorry I am such a jerk who frets a lot...
I guess, I' ll give myself sometime to hibernate...

Smorty made me Happy...

Blog Advertising - Get Paid to Blog

Gheeezzz, while my day was turning really bad, Smorty made my day. As the saying goes “Patience is a Virtue”, it’s all worth the wait, last night my blog has been approved, yuppie! I am really proud to be part of Smorty.

As you all know I am working abroad as an OFW and I can attest that earning money is not that easy. Currently, Philippine Peso is striking to its highest which left dollar exchange rate behind. For a dollar earner like me, it’s quite a pain, for I have to pull strings just to send more. How to earn more? I have been blogging for more than a year now and I observe some bloggers do advertise on blogs, then I came to know that they get paid for blogging. For a blogger like me, Get paid to blog is one convenient way to earn extra ca$h. Now I am worry free, through the money earned from blog advertising, I can still continue my desire shopping online while on the other hand I can still send money back home, isn’t it the coolest. I am simply grateful to Smorty because Smorty is a service connecting advertisers with bloggers while advertisers can pay bloggers to write opinion posts with links back to the advertisers, what a suitable way for bloggers and advertisers. I am getting giddy to blog for money.

Should I say Blog = Ca$h?
