Never thought I will be visiting a police station then… A friend of hubby’s cousin was detained in an isolated room in a police station in Dubai… We’ve been asked a favor to bring her some clothes and foods since it's a weekend and offices resumes on Sunday which makes her case pending… Not a serious case though but the police wants to get hold of her to capture the culprits… She was then released on Sunday Evening and the case is still on going...

Decided to have my hair done… The hair stylist (a syrian national) was indeed awesome… and the proof...

Shopping really made my day… Never a dull moment…

It was past 10 in the evening, we went to a Comedy Bar ‘coz we’ve been invited by my sister along with her fiancé for a night out, actually it serves as their birthday treat for me… At 1 in the morning me and hubby decided to go home for it will be another working day for hubby…

As I bid adieu to the lovely 20’s and greet 30’s a warm hello, at first I have this odd feeling of turning 30 but nevertheless I am happy… The past 30 years of my existence made my life meaningful and through life’s flipping adventures it molds me as the person I am right now… I felt like crying, I have to hold back my tears, I know it’s only the age and it will never change the person in me but I feel sad for I believe I should have accomplished more than what I have done… Needless to say, I don’t have any regrets for the past 3 decades and right now, all I have is the sweet memories of past worth reminiscing… Life was never perfect, neither nobody had lived a perfect life but with God everything was made perfect…

Well, what transpired for the past 3 Decades of my life?!?

1-6 years old

A Cutie Baby Girl was born...

Started to make funny faces which made her family exteremely happy...

Attempting to make few steps and start murmuring few words which is completely unclear...

A kiddo who cries when she falls while mommy & daddy hug and kiss the wound while calming her down...

The best thing is, she always get what she wants...

6-12 years old

An ordinary grade school student who’s never been really keen in studying, a child who enjoys going out and playing with other kids… Our parents are both busy working that time and only our housemaid watch over us… Because of their busy work schedules and time was always hectic for bonding, we’re not able to establish a good rapport… We seldom eat and go out together as a family… At a younger age I was not really bothered about it as if it’s only a game we’re playing…

12-16 years old

My parents enrolled me in an Exclusive School which is close to the place where we reside… I was so skinny and a boyish like then with a short hair (boyish cut) while bulldog shoes was so in that time and loved wearing them… At this stage I became hard headed, I just do my homework when I feel like it or copy the assignments from my classmates (so pathetic), my grades flanked as expected… My parents got so irritated about it so every class report card distribution never did they attempt to collect it, it’s only my aunt who's good enough to volunteer then (thanks to you!)… Joined a group of friends who’s quite well known not only because of being extra smart but it’s merely because of their naughtiness in school… Got my first boyfriend at the age of 14 though, broke up after 6 months, got another and playing the fun of having 4 boyfriends at the same time in the same community (hahah, naughty bitch --- sorry honey, kids really want to play) I am not serious with every relationship though… After sometime, I was fed up playing the same game and decided to break-up with them and enjoyed high school life… 1 avid suitor was left and he was so keen to wait for me though (haba ng hair ng lola mo that time, heheh)… This was my naughtiest teenage part and terribly enjoying it, can’t stop myself from collecting different types of boylets from all ages…

16-20 years old

I took up B.S. Psychology at P.U.P. kinda nervous because I am not really exposed to male classmates, so I was so shy and timid then… Gave my YES to the remaining suitor whose 5 years older than me… His my 2nd BF (others are simply flings) He’s one sweet guy, small but cute, thoughtful and very caring, he loves singing (he’s a member of a band) and I can feel that he loves me dearly… I am one childish brat whom he sees as a freakin' girl who's not yet ready to handle serious relationship (I agree with him though)… With my unexpected tantrums from time to time, he always understands every bits of my insanity, unfortunately not for long he got tired of me, we broke up after 8 months of being BF/GF but the good thing is, we remain friends… 1996 Won 2 beauty contests in School though I am not that pretty… Met this guy who is now my husband… He’s pretty sweet and so gentleman… We became ‘US” few months after my 18th Birthday... 20-26 years old

Started working at the age of 20. I worked as a recruitment clerk at Tropical Hut, it was fun, after 6 months the company decided to retrench some employees and that includes me… Found another job as receptionist, got bored with the job and moved to another company as secretary… Loving my work and the people around (lots of gimmicks)... Stayed with the Vehicle Sales Company for more than 2 years but then decided to quit…

26-30 years old

Left Manila for Dubai on February 2004… April 2004 got lucky and was hired by a local bank… May 2004 honey quit his job, left Manila and Flew to Dubai to be with me… August 2005 we had our Civil Wedding in Dubai… January 2006 got hitched and the wedding was held in Manila… It is also the first time we went back home after spending 2 years in Dubai… January 2008, our 2nd wedding Anniversary will be by the end of this month… This month also marks the start of my routine visits to my OB for possible work-ups… Hoping for our bundle of joy to arrive soon…
Well I guess now is the time to gear up and face life adventures full of HOPE…

Abu Dhabi: US President George W. Bush arrived in the UAE capital on Sunday for a two-day official visit as part of his broader tour of the Middle East. Monday declared holiday for private and public sectors in Dubai

Dubai: Monday, January 14, has been declared a holiday for ministries, government establishments, schools and private sector companies in Dubai due to the closure of some main roads, bridges and tunnels. Official sources urged all residents to avoid using main roads on Monday.

Nah, it's a working day for me, 'coz i am posted in Sharjah...

Hubby got his off today but still have to be in the office in the morning for some urgent work...

Good thing they have announced the holiday a day prior the event, though some speculations arises due to heavy traffic flow in Dubai yesterday which is least expected by both motorists and commuters... Traffic was congested due to road diversions as part of the government preparation for the arrival of the U.S. President...

Hmmm, i wonder whats happening in Dubai Roads by now...

It’s darn freezing cold outside, the temperature suddenly dropped from its normal and i can’t stand the cold breezing air as if my nose will suddenly bleed...

oh well, i think we have to upbeat and enjoy the funky weather...

mY BiRtHdAy CoUnTdOwN bEgIns...

Well, i guess New Year means another Year Older... My birthday countdown begins... The day will fall on a weekday and that's holding me back from planning... well, nothing really big, but at least have something memorable for i will be turning bleep-bleep... This time all i want is to free myself from cooking, so maybe a date or a group night out will do... haven't decided yet... Let's see what lies ahead...

fUn GeTaWay... (Part 2)

I was so delighted when hubby managed to arrange something special...

For a change we spent Christmas Eve on a Romantic Dhow Cruise Dinner (touring Bur Dubai - Deira - Bur Dubai)... The food was great and the show made the night fun... With the cool breezing air and fancy lights it made our night simply romantic, just the way we wanted, spending quality time together...

At home, i prepared Carbonara, Spring Roll and Fruit Salad for a small dinner (actually mid-night snack) that my siblings and friends had relished while enjoying the videoke night away...

On 27th December 2007, hubby and i attended a Birthday party, it's my colleague's son's 1st Birthday which was held at Coral Beach Hotel in Ajman... Food was great and we did enjoy the party...

In Welcoming 2008, i did prepare some foods for our small feast...

Our menu (in which i prepared alone) consists of Pansit Bihon Guisado, Spring Roll, Menudo & Rice, Sliced Ham, Hotdog on stick topped with Marsh Mallows and for desert we have Leche Flan, Sapin-Sapin and Biko (which hubby bought) and a basket full of assorted fruits...

I'm sure all of you guys had a great time during the holidays...

fUn GeTaWay... (Part 1)

I owe you guys tons of stories...

Let me divide this post into 2 parts and i'll start from the long Eid breaks we had on the 3rd week of December 2007. To make our long story short, we decided to pick random photos to easily share to you what transpired during the holidays...

Day 1

We savor ourselves with long sleep and opted for an afternoon fun. Knowing that we have more days to look forward for much awaited getaway, we simply hang out at Dragon Mart... Good thing we went there, 'coz i was able to buy 2 sets of bedding's and i really love it, next time i'll go there i will definitely purchase another set...

Day 2

We're living in this country for almost 4 years now and haven't explore the entire city (hmmm, i wonder why?) so we decided to visit few places such as Dubai Museum.

Day 3 (Morning)

Morning breakfast and a walk along Jumeirah beach was indeed awesome, catered with the astonishing view of the famous 7 star hotel Burj Al Arab...

Day 3 (Afternoon)

Dubai Zoo, is one ordinary zoo and nothing much amazed us except for the sign board pointing to the direction going to the toilet? (i guess they should correct this)...

Day 4

The last off day for hubby so the whole day was spent sleeping and eating... It was late in the afternoon when we set off to Global Village and splurge the time roaming around... The place is quite huge we ended our quest by 12 midnight and got home before 1 am...

Every bits of our simple adventures made our day fun and the best thing was the time spent to bond with our families and friends even from the simplest escapades we had...
