and so i passed...
Driving school is finally over... After a month and a half of attending driving school, I am finally done, yipeeee!!! Talk about being lucky, on first take I passed the online exam, actual parking test and road test. This means that I don't need to spend more money and time just to have a driving license.
Enrolling in a driving school in this side of the world is way too expensive, much more if you fail which means you have to pay again for additional classes. So yes, we're spared and relieved from unexpected expenses... I was scheduled to take the road test as early as 7am on 21st December, so the husband and I braved the road at 6am to make sure that we won't be late... He just dropped me at the driving school and he drove back to the office... If only I can explain how nervous I am while waiting for the examiner, it was indeed an uncomfortable feeling... By 8am I am done and received my papers with a passed mark... I called the husband the soonest and he is so happy upon learning the news...
Next thing I have to do is to collect my driving license which is scheduled on 25th December 2011, such a lovely christmas gift...

....jOg....
And so we jog…
We’re happy to announce that jogging is now part of our routine. It's been over a week now since we started and we're still giddy and looking forward to do this everyday (crossed fingers - hope this will be for long). We do our rounds in the evening at the park close to where we stay. What can I say, being fit and healthy is our top priority.
Since I quit my job, we also lost our medical insurance, kinda sad. The husband’s employer does not provide medical insurance, which is totally hideous. And getting sick is a BIG NO NO for us, because medical expense in this side of the world is way too expensive. Anyways, we are working out in getting our own insurance soon. Hope will find a good deal though… But for the meantime we’ll do our part to keep us healthy…
More exercise and eat healthy foods… Be safe everyone!

DiAmOnDs R FOREVER...
Most of our friends don’t know that we first got hitched in August and had our Civil Wedding in Phil. Consulate Dubai just few months before our church wedding nailed in January. It was super simple ceremony joined by our 2 witnesses, no wedding dress and no wedding reception, as in no nothing… Because during that time we are saving up for our church wedding come January. All wedding expenses from bits to pieces are shouldered by us so we have to save-save-save. Since we’re saving for the church wedding we decided not to spend much on our Civil Wedding and so we agreed and end up having a silver wedding ring while we save up for our gold wedding band.
Whenever August comes, I always do ask him to replace our silver wedding band. And lately I’ve been bugging the husband again to give me a decent ring to replace the silver wedding band that we used during our civil wedding. I was too pushy the whole time and maybe he realized that I will not stop and will continue bugging him every year until he give in and so finally he obliged. I am one lucky girl and proud to wear this new bling. It’s another wedding band that will keep our love and bond FOREVER.
I'm super loving it…. I SUPER LOVE YOU HONEY ;-)Friday, September 02, 2011
aNd So....
Ramadan is officially over which means work timings will be back to normal. I know it doesn’t concern me, as I am currently a bum, heheh! When Ramadan comes to an end the husband’s afternoon naps is also over and this makes him sad, poor hubby coz he has to get back to his usual routine, which is waking up early and coming home late :-(.
As for me it is still bumming mode though I am now itching to go back to work. Now is the time to start making plans in searching a decent job, but where will I begin?!? I am back to square 1 and I have to start all over again… urghhhhhh, I hate interviews!!!
Wish me luck…
EID MUBARAK TO ALL OUR MUSLIMS…
