Sorry folks, I’ve lost the urge to blog though I do random visit to other blogs!
So, what’s up with me?!? Same old me… Nothing much has changed!
By the way, Belated Happy Mother’s Day to all moms out there! Here in UAE, they celebrate mother’s day every 2nd week of March (if I remember it correctly). I will never let this special day pass without greeting all mothers’ back home. I sent text messages to them to let them feel that they are not forgotten… 2 of the responses stands out… 1 reply came from MIL “Thank you, Happy Mother’s Day too, we’re hoping that you’ll have a baby soon, Take Care & God Bless” and the other 1 came from my Auntie who’s very close to me “Thank you, How about you, when can I greet you Happy Mother’s Day?” I got goose bumps while reading those messages! I didn’t manage to send any reply to them because sadness slowly sinks in… I can’t wait for the time that I will be looking forward to the yearly greetings for the occasion of Mother’s Day, would it ever happen? 1 comment which I really hated came from a close relative, we personally greeted her on Mother’s Day and she sarcastically replied “I wont be greeting you because your ‘aint a mom yet”. Accepted 'coz it's true but what I hate is the way it was rudely said, I really wanted to give her a nasty response but instead I kept mum because I respect somebody older than me… Does someone like me deserve to be treated that way? Is it my/our fault if at this moment we're still childless? Is this the reward that we are going to get, instead of giving us much support that we needed? We didn’t volunteered to be counted from those who are unlucky to conceive, it was never our plan, it’s all in GOD’s hands and with open arms we accept it though we can not deny the fact that sometimes we keep on asking “WHY”... Hey, we are humans, it doesn’t mean that childless couple’s should be treated arrogantly… If you don’t have any good thing to say, better zip it! I think I had said enough!
