European Tour - Part 3 (Engelberg - Luzern, Switzerland)

Time for snowy-snowy-snow and also for the mouth watering taste of Swiss chocolates, love it!!! It was a smooth ride going to Switzerland, there’s no traffic and the road seems to be clear, so traveling was a breeze… By the way before entering Switzerland, you have to pay the border tax in which I guess is a reasonable amount…

Welcome to Switzerland!!! Along the way, we can’t afford to blink our eyes for we’re very eager to witness the magnificent view and beauty of Swiss Alps. Until we finally saw it, wheeewww can’t really explain the excitement we felt… I can’t stop clicking my cam even if the coach is moving which makes the photos crappy, never mind for I’m sure out of hundred shots we’ll come up with 5 decent one's… We reached Hotel Hirshen in time for dinner… Guess what, our room had the view of the Alps --- happiness… It was cold but not as cold when we were in Germany…

Early morning we’re off to Mount Titlis, we’re giddy to experience this special tour for this will be our first snow experience, imagine the eagerness to touch snow for the very first time ever --- gheeshhh that makes me blush in excitement… Mount Titlis is 10,000 feet above sea level, incredibly high, eh?!? It took us 4 cable cars to reach the top of Mount Titlis and it’s really worth it… The sight is unbelievable, how I wish we can stay a little longer to at least enjoy the snow but unfortunately we can’t because oxygen level on top is limited, I mean there’s a small supply of oxygen... It’s also windy and so the snow hurts whenever it hits our face… We are about to ride the sky flyer but the wind didn’t cooperate, according to the operator it’s not safe to ride whenever it’s windy… And so we stayed there for some time just for photo ops and enjoy the snow a little… Nevertheless, even in a short period of time I guess 30 minutes in totality, we had the time of our life, an unforgettable and irreplaceable experience… While we’re on top enjoying snow our poor camera got busted with moist, but thank god after sometime it’s ready to click again… Had our lunch on Mount Titlis and head on to find our way down and catch our next tour…

Luzern (Lucrene) Cruise is our next activity… The scenery of the City of Luzern is magnificent… Although it’s cold, we still enjoy the cruise… Afternoon is set for city exploration and souvenir shopping… If you really want to experience city snow I suggest you visit Switzerland during the months of November, December and January but ready yourself with the cold-cold-cold weather.
